VITICULTURE
Region: Pays Nantais in Loire Valley, near the Atlantic Ocean, in the village of La Regrippière – east of the township of Vallet.
Exposure & Altitude: Gentle rolling hillsides set 90 meters above sea level. Temperate oceanic climate with a south-east exposure.
Terroir: Silico-argillaceous over micaschists rock.
Vine Growing: Guyot pruning.Sustainable viticulture with use of organic fertilizers.
Plant Density: 6500 plants / ha.
Vines Age: from 15 to 30 years old.
Yield: 45hl / ha.
Harvest: Mid-September - Mechanical harvest.
VINIFICATION
Smooth pneumatic pressing of the grapes. Cold static clarification of the free-run must during 18 hours. Traditional alcoholic fermentation with temperature-controlled at 16°C-18°C for about 15 days with selected yeasts respecting the grape variety and terroir.
Ageing: Lees ageing for 7 months, with no racking, in concrete underground tanks (typical of the Nantais vineyards).Malolactic Fermentation: 0%
Oak Treatment: None
TASTING
Eye: Yellow-gold with green tints.
Nose: Fine nose combining iodine-like minerality with scents of citrus, green apple and meadow flowers.
Mouth: The palate is delicate with very precise aromatics. Great sourness blends with the whole in this very freshly styled, refined wine.Cellaring: 2 to 3 years.
Service Temperature: 10°C-12°C.

Shellfish, Moules Marinières, Fish & Chips, Sushis, Grilled Sardines as well as Charcuterie.
